Disclaimer: These pages are operational templates and should be reviewed by legal counsel before full public launch.

Prevention is better than cure. We protect customer data before harm occurs.

1. Our Privacy Principles

  • We collect only what is needed to provide shipping and export services.
  • We protect customer identity, payment, shipment, and contact information.
  • We use role-based access controls and limit access to staff with operational need.
  • We require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for staff and administrator portals.
  • We never sell customer personal information.
  • We protect documents and photos uploaded by customers in private storage.
  • We use secure payment processors such as Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers.
  • We use email providers such as Resend only for transactional notices (receipts, refund updates, shipment status).
  • We keep audit logs for payments, refunds, shipment updates, and access-sensitive events.
  • Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of their data where legally permitted.

2. Information We Collect

Account details (name, email, phone), shipment details (sender/recipient, addresses, item descriptions, vehicle titles and VINs), uploaded documents and photos, payment metadata returned by Stripe (we do not store card numbers), and service logs (login timestamps, shipment status changes, refund actions).

3. How We Use Information

To process quotes, payments, refunds, customs documentation, container loading, delivery tracking, and customer support; to comply with U.S. and Ghanaian shipping, customs, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations; to communicate transactional updates.

4. How We Protect Information

Encrypted transport (TLS), role-based access controls, mandatory MFA for staff and admin portals, private document storage with per-customer scoping, payment-provider separation (Stripe handles card data), webhook signature verification, and immutable audit logs for sensitive actions.

5. Sharing

We share information only with parties needed to complete your shipment — carriers, port and customs agents, delivery partners in Ghana, payment processors (Stripe), and transactional email providers (Resend). We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

Some records must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, customs, shipping, dispute, and tax purposes. Retention periods follow applicable U.S. and Ghanaian law and industry standards. We minimize stored data once retention obligations end.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to your account data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion where legally permitted. Some records (financial, customs, audit) cannot be deleted before mandated retention ends. Submit requests to alhajsabary@proton.me.

8. Cookies and Sessions

We use first-party cookies and local storage only for authentication, MFA, and basic site preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We will post updates to this Privacy Policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to active customers.
